VTG Folk Art HAND PAINTED TROPICAL BIRDS Parrot WALL SCULPTURE COAT & HAT RACK

Really great vintage hand painted birds on wood wall sculpture, or coat/hat rack. Recently acquired from an estate sale of artist Cassandra Shaw's home.

I do see the date of 1993... This piece appears to be painted birds of paradise, probably parrots. Their faces painted on knobs where you can hang a hat or coat, with elongated painted color necks coming straight out.

This folk art piece works great as simply unique wall art. My personal choice would be not to hang anything on this at all, because I think it is fun to look at just like this. But that is just my opinion... This piece was hung outside under a very well covered porch for many years, therefore there is a little bit of natural weathering or discoloring to it in spots. Nothing bad whatsoever, and really displays vibrantly!

Also there may be a slight chance for a little bit of very minor extra cleaning up needed.. Overall very nice structural condition, completely solid & sturdy, and ready to hang up now. This piece will take a footprint of roughly 36" long X 9.5" tall X 10.5 deep from your wall. Please view all of the photos carefully as they are part of the description.
